Wrestling with Fear after Learning of Internet Trolling
I’m a 27-year-old man named Josh. Recently, I've encountered malicious trolling online due to my beliefs and faith. It has stirred a deep fear within me, making me anxious about engaging with people in discussions about my faith. I start second-guessing my thoughts and feel paralyzed by the fear of ridicule. I know the importance of sharing my testimony and standing firm in my faith, but I am struggling to find the courage. I am reaching out for prayer that I may overcome this fear and regain my confidence in sharing my faith without hesitation.

Dear Josh, thank you for your honesty in sharing your struggle. It’s not easy to face trolling and negativity, especially when you desire to stand firm in your faith. Remember, God has called you to be bold, and you are equipped with the Spirit of power and love (2 Timothy 1:7). The fear that seeks to silence you is not from God. In Isaiah 41:10, we find reassurance: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." God is with you in this battle. Lean on Him for strength as you share your testimony. Let’s pray together: Lord, I pray for Josh. Help him find courage and confidence as he stands for You in the face of negativity. Grant him peace as he shares his faith boldly. Amen.
