Wrestling with Fear in an Unpredictable Home

Dear Marcus, thank you for your openness and for seeking prayer during this challenging season in your life. Your commitment to your family shines through your words, and it’s clear that your heart is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your children. In Genesis 2:24, we are reminded that a husband and wife should cling to each other as they build their family. Navigating addiction in a marriage is incredibly difficult, but know that God is with you in this struggle. In Joel 2:25, God promises to restore the years that the locusts have eaten, and I believe He can bring healing and restoration to your wife as well. Your children need a strong and loving father, and God sees your efforts to protect them. Continue to lean on God's strength and seek support from your church community. I will be praying that you find the courage to lead your family through this storm and that God brings healing to your home. May His peace and guidance cover you and your children.
