Wrestling with Fears of Global Turmoil
Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m a 50-year-old community activist. I've been deeply involved in social issues, but I can’t shake off the anxiety I feel about the state of our world. With so much unrest and division, I often find myself losing hope and feeling fearful about the future. I want to be a beacon of hope, yet the heaviness of constant negativity in the news takes a toll on my spirit. I pray for courage to continue my work and for peace in my heart, so I can serve others with joy and love. Please pray for me to overcome this fear and to remain steadfast in faith.

Dear Sarah, thank you for your commitment to making a difference in your community. It’s commendable, yet I understand how the constant turmoil can weigh heavily on your spirit. The good news is that God is with us in our struggles. In Isaiah 41:10, He reminds us that we should not fear, for He is our God; He will strengthen us and help us. When we face challenges, we can also find peace in the promise of Philippians 4:6-7, where we are encouraged to present our worries to God in prayer. He will grant us peace that surpasses all understanding. Continue to be a light in your community, and don’t lose heart. I will pray for you to feel God's strength and renewal daily, so you can continue your important work with joy and hope. May His love fill your heart and drive away the fears that threaten your peace.
