Wrestling with Financial Worries
My name is Linda, and I’m a 39-year-old woman who has been the main income earner in my household. I’ve been working as an administrative assistant for many years, but the company I work for is facing some financial issues, and it leaves me feeling anxious about my job stability. I have two children, and I constantly worry about how I would support them if I lost my job. I am looking for peace in trusting God’s provision while navigating this uncertainty. Please pray for my family to experience financial security, as well as for guidance in my career path. I know God has a plan for me, but I need help feeling secure during this time.

Dear Linda, I appreciate you reaching out with your prayer request. Your concerns are valid, and it’s commendable that you are seeking God during this time. Trusting Him can be difficult amid uncertainty, but remember what 1 Timothy 6:6 states, 'But godliness with contentment is great gain.' Focus on the blessings you have, even in this challenging season. God is aware of your worries about providing for your children, and He promises to sustain us. Psalm 55:22 encourages us to 'Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.' I will be praying for you to find stability in your job and for peace in your heart. Lord, grant Linda assurance and open doors for her career. Amen.
