Wrestling with Purpose in the Midst of Change
As a 50-year-old man facing unexpected career changes due to downsizing, I find myself questioning my purpose in life. For so long, my job defined me, and now that it’s gone, I feel like I’ve lost my identity. I often see my colleagues moving on and thriving, while I feel stuck and uncertain about my future. It’s difficult to see God’s hand in this transition, and I can’t help but wonder if I’m being led in the right direction. I’m reaching out for prayer that I can rediscover my purpose and trust God during this challenging time of change.

Trust that He is working things together for your good, even when you can’t see the path ahead. Take time to seek His wisdom; James 1:5 encourages us to ask God for guidance, knowing He gives generously to those who seek Him. Remember to lean on your community during this time; you don’t have to navigate this alone. Let’s pray for clarity, peace, and a renewed sense of purpose as you step into this new season of life.
