Yearning for Authentic Conversations in IT
Hello, my name is David, a 26-year-old network administrator. I feel a strong desire to connect with my colleagues on a deeper level, sharing not just my tech skills but also my faith. However, the environment is often superficial, filled with tech jargon that leaves little room for personal dialogue. I struggle with feeling that my faith is sidelined among my peers, and I want to create a safe space for conversations about spirituality. Pray for opportunities and the right words to engage them in discussing faith and God’s love, and for my own confidence in sharing these truths.

In an environment that prioritizes technical skills, remember that the foundation of communication is built on relationships. Acts 4:12 tells us, ‘Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.’ Your testimony can be a powerful tool, and God can use it to touch the hearts of your colleagues. Romans 3:23 is a reminder that we all fall short and need God’s grace. Use this humility to open dialogues about faith. As you seek these opportunities, remember, Ephesians 2:8 states, ‘For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.’ I will pray for God to grant you both courage and wisdom in your endeavors.
