Yearning for Boldness in a Faith-hostile Workspace
In my new job, I’ve encountered an environment that feels overwhelmingly hostile towards faith. Many of my peers openly criticize people of faith, and I feel like I have to hide who I am. It breaks my heart to see others suffering and searching for truth, and I want desperately to share the hope I have in Christ. But fear holds me back. I pray for the boldness to speak up and share the message of salvation, even when it feels uncomfortable. I would appreciate your prayers for courage to be a witness in this challenging atmosphere.

Dear Evelyn, it’s commendable that you recognize the importance of sharing your faith, even in difficult circumstances. God calls us to be His witnesses, and in Acts 1:8, He promises, 'But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me...' Trust that God has equipped you with the Holy Spirit to empower your witness. I encourage you to lean into prayer and Scripture during this time; Philippians 4:13 reminds us, 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.' Speak with love and compassion, for as it says in Ezekiel 18:23, God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but desires that all turn to Him. May your heart's desire to share His love be ignited with boldness and grace. Let’s pray together: Father, give Evelyn courage and wisdom as she seeks to share her faith in a difficult environment. May she reflect Your love and truth in all her encounters. Amen.
