Yearning for Family Acceptance After Faith Change
I’m Sofia, a 24-year-old who recently found faith while serving time. I've embraced the love of Christ, but my family is still in disbelief. They think my faith is a phase, and it breaks my heart. I know God has a plan for me, and I want my family to share in this joy. I pray that they can see the changes in me and understand that this is real. I long for their acceptance and support. Please pray for my family to find faith and for me to remain strong in my convictions as I continue to grow spiritually.

Dear Sofia, thank you for reaching out and sharing your struggles. It's beautiful to hear how God has entered your life and transformed your heart. Remember, faith can often seem difficult for those who don't understand it yet. 'The Lord is not slack concerning his promise' (2 Peter 3:9), and He is patient, desiring that all come to repentance. As you walk this path, encourage your family with your actions and love. In John 14:6, Christ reminds us, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' Continue to shine His light in your life, and pray that your family’s skepticism will turn into curiosity and ultimately faith. Keep growing, and trust that God is working in their hearts too. I will be praying for you and your family to come to know His love together.
