Yearning for Guidance in My Calling
Hello, I’m Chris, a 24-year-old seminarian struggling to find my calling. Although I started this journey excited to serve God, I now feel uncertain about my future. I’ve tried various ministries but haven’t found the right fit. Instead of feeling fulfilled, I often feel lost and hopeless. This uncertainty is causing me to doubt whether I am even meant to be in ministry. I fear that if I don’t find my direction soon, I will have wasted my time and resources. Please pray for clarity and confidence as I seek to understand God’s purpose for my life. I hope to feel His leading hand soon.

Dear Chris, I appreciate you reaching out for prayer during this uncertain time. It’s tough when we feel adrift, but know that God has a purpose for you (Jeremiah 29:11). He is intimately aware of your struggles and is guiding you each step of the way. Pray for wisdom, as James 1:5 assures us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask God who gives generously to all. Take time to seek God in prayer and the Scriptures; meditate on His promises and the gifts He has placed in you. Remember, faith often involves exploring and stepping out, even when the path is unclear (Romans 10:17). Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father, grant Chris clarity and direction in his journey of faith. Amen.
