Yearning for Intimacy with God
As a busy mother of three, I often find it hard to carve out time for prayer, but when I do, I feel like I'm just going through the motions. It’s like I can’t connect on a deeper level. I crave a more intimate relationship with God, but distractions and exhaustion often overwhelm me. I don’t want my prayer life to feel routine. I am asking for prayers that I can develop a consistent, heartfelt communication with God amidst my daily responsibilities.

Dear Sarah, thank you for sharing the reality of your busy life and your desire for intimacy with God. It’s so easy to lose that connection when life gets hectic. Remember, God understands your heart, and He desires a relationship with you that is genuine and fulfilling. In Romans 8:26, we are reminded, 'Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought.' This means even when words fail you, the Holy Spirit intercedes on your behalf. As you navigate your busy days, find moments to pause and invite God into your mundane tasks, as Colossians 3:17 encourages us, 'And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.' This can transform routine into sacred moments. I pray that you carve out time for Him, and may He reveal His presence in profound ways, even in the midst of your motherly responsibilities. Amen.
