Yearning for My Father's Return from Misguided Teachings
My father has been deeply involved in a cult, and it has taken a toll on our family. He used to be the spiritual leader of our home, but now he follows teachings that are so contrary to the Bible. It’s as if he’s a different person altogether, and I fear for his salvation. I pray that he will come to know the truth again and that God will open his heart to the gospel. Please pray with me for his spiritual awakening and for our family to be reunited in faith.

Dear Jessica, I can feel the weight of your concern for your father. It can be heartbreaking when those we love fall away from the truth. But remember, God is always at work, and He desires that none should perish. Luke 15:7 reminds us, 'I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.' Continue to pray fervently for your father. Ephesians 2:8 assures us that salvation is a gift from God. Let's come together in prayer, asking the Lord to soften his heart and lead him back to the family and faith he once cherished.
