Yearning for My Neighbor's Freedom from Fear
My neighbor, Vikram, is paralyzed by fear after facing a series of health issues. He has been relying on his Hindu faith, but I can see he is struggling to find real answers. I genuinely care for him and want to help him understand the grace and love that can be found in Jesus. I ask for prayers that he will be open to hear the message of hope and salvation. Pray that God gives me the words to share His truth, and that Vikram's heart is softened. I pray for an opportunity to speak with him about choosing faith over fear.

Pastor Maria Santos
Senior Pastor, Grace Community Church
Dear Nisha, thank you for being such a compassionate neighbor to Vikram during his time of fear and uncertainty. Remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). This is the freedom that Jesus offers! In Romans 2:4, we are reminded of God’s kindness that leads us to repentance. Your willingness to share your faith is a beautiful expression of that kindness. As you pray, ask God to open the door for meaningful conversations with Vikram. We know that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Let your life be a testament of faith in action, and may God guide you to share the hope that is found in Christ. Let’s pray that together, you can bring light into his darkness, and he finds peace in Jesus. Amen.
