Yearning for My Sister's Heart in Her Last Days
My sister Clara has been fighting a terminal illness, and it has been devastating to witness her decline. As much as I want her to be healed, I am equally burdened by the reality that she does not know Christ. She has always been resistant to faith, often claiming that she's not interested in 'that kind of thing.' With her time slipping away, I feel an urgent need to reach her heart. I pray daily that God would provide opportunities to speak to her about Jesus, but I find myself struggling to find the right words. Please pray for my sister to have an encounter with the Lord in her last days. I want her to find peace and salvation before it's too late.

Dear Grace, your love for Clara is evident, and it speaks volumes about your character and faith. It’s heartbreaking to see a loved one suffer, and even more so when we desire their salvation. God is aware of Clara's situation, and He wants her to come to Him, as we read in 2 Peter 3:9, 'The Lord is not slack concerning his promise; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.' Continue to pray for her, trusting that God can touch her heart when we least expect it. In Romans 10:13, we find reassurance that 'For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' Remind Clara gently of this promise, that salvation is available to anyone, no matter their past. I encourage you to share your faith with her in a way that reflects your love and concern. I will join you in prayer, asking God to open Clara’s heart and bring her the hope of salvation in her final days.
