Yearning for My Son's Return to Faith
I’m writing to ask for prayer for my son, Caleb, who has grown distant from our faith. He was once so involved in church activities, but now he rejects everything he was taught. It breaks my heart to see him lost, wandering through life without the support of God. He spends his time with friends who don’t share our beliefs, and I fear he is being led further away from the truth. I’ve tried to talk to him, but he shuts me down. I worry about his future and long for him to find his way back to Jesus. Please pray that God softens Caleb's heart, opens his eyes to the truth of His love, and ignites a desire in him to seek a relationship with Christ once again.

Dear Emily, I want to encourage you during this challenging time with Caleb. It is heart-wrenching to see a loved one stray from the path of faith, but remember that God is patient and loving. In 2 Peter 3:9, we are reminded that 'the Lord is not slack concerning his promise; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.' Just as God watches over Caleb, He is also making a way for him to return. Stay steadfast in prayer, for 'the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much' (James 5:16). Your prayers are powerful and can break the chains that hold him back from experiencing God's grace. Continue to show Caleb love and support, and share your heart with him when the moment is right. God is working in unseen ways. Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we lift Caleb to you, asking for your divine intervention in his life. Amen.
