Yearning for Support in My Mission Calling
Dear Prayer Team, I am feeling a strong call to serve in missions, particularly in areas where Jesus' love is desperately needed. My heart aches for those who don’t know Him, and I believe God is urging me to step out and share His word. However, my family is struggling to understand my calling. They fear for my safety and worry that I’m chasing after a dream that could disrupt our lives. I feel torn between my desire to obey God's call and my love for my family. Please pray that God will soften their hearts and help them see this as a divine mission, not just a personal choice. Pray for guidance and courage as I navigate this challenging season. Thank you for standing with me in prayer.

Dear Elena, thank you for sharing your heartfelt prayer request with us. It’s clear that God has given you a profound calling, and it's both beautiful and challenging. Remember, the Lord often asks us to step outside our comfort zones. In Philippians 1:6, we are reminded that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. It's natural for your family to have concerns, but like you, they want what's best for you. As you seek God's guidance, trust in Proverbs 3:6, which instructs us to acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will direct your paths. Keep praying and be steadfast in your faith, for Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Allow your family to see your commitment and passion; God can work through that to change their hearts. Let’s pray: Lord, I ask that You bless Elena with peace and clarity as she follows Your calling. Amen.
