BFour✓ Correct Answer
CTwo
DOne
Answer & Explanation
✓ Four
While the most infamous Herod is probably Herod the Great, who attempted to murder Jesus while he was still an infant (Matthew 2:13,16,) there are a few others in the New Testament. The second Herod is Herod Antipas, who ridiculed Jesus and had John the Baptist beheaded (Luke 23: 6-12, Matthew 14:1-12.) The third is Herod Aggripa I, who had James executed (Acts 12:1-2) and who was eaten to death by worms (Acts 21:23.) The fourth and final Herod was Herod Agrippa II, whom Paul made his defence to at Caesarea (Acts 25:13-26:32.)
