AThe ship's chaplain recited the 100th Psalm incorrectly.
BThe people sang the wrong words to 'Nearer My God to Thee'.
CThe ship's chaplain recited the 23rd Psalm incorrectly.
DThe orchestra played the wrong tune for 'Nearer My God to Thee'.✓ Correct Answer

Answer & Explanation

The orchestra played the wrong tune for 'Nearer My God to Thee'.

The British use a different tune for "Nearer My God to Thee" than Americans and Canadians. Cameron had the orchestra playing the tune familiar to Americans (called "Bethany") but the Titanic was a British ship, and the orchestra played the British version, a tune called "Horbury". The old movie, "A Night to Remember", played the historically accurate version. (See Acts 12:2, James)
