1 CHRONICLES 16:31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.
On earth, there is much to be dissatisfied about. However, we can always rejoice in the Lord and all that He has accomplished for us. We do not need to constantly concentrate on the negative events taking place all around us.
Rejoicing in the Lord lifts our spirits and pleases the Lord as well.
ZEPHANIAH 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
God is glad for you! He cares for you more than you can imagine.
God intended for you to experience joy in life. He is content and desires for you to be as well.
DEUTERONOMY 12:7 And there ye shall eat before the Lord your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.
God assigned dates each year under the Old Covenant for His people to come together and celebrate His blessings. This should teach us that it is appropriate to acknowledge God's goodness.
ISAIAH 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
Our delight in our glorious Father God and His astounding power, creativity, and love should be inspired by His marvelous creation.
The Lord delights in watching His children mature and resemble Him. God desires for us to have joy and happiness, just as He does. We have a decision to make!
JOEL 2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.
Life is not always simple or ideal. Happiness is not the earth's natural flow. But because of our unchanging God, we are able to see beyond our transient surroundings. Regardless of the circumstances, we have the choice to be joyful and content. This is a lesson from God that will help us walk in victory and prevail.
PHILIPPIANS 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
SAY THIS: I am a joyful child of God.
