Exult In The Lord

Published: July 16, 2024 · Reviewed: October 11, 2024

PHILIPPIANS 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

The Bible instructs God's people to delight in the Lord at least five times.

It's possible that we won't always be able to find joy in other people or in our situation.

Individuals can be annoying. Some people are naive. Humans can be erratic. Must I continue?

However, the Almighty is special!

God is reliable. God is trustworthy. God is genuine.

God is merciful. God is tolerant. God is gracious. God is knowledgeable.

MALACHI 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

We can easily lose our pleasure if we concentrate on our surroundings or on what other people do.

But when we truly realize God's nature, we can only exult in His goodness and greatness.

Find Jesus Christ in the Four Gospels of the New Bible if you're unsure of what God truly looks like.

SAY THIS: I will continue to rejoice in the kindness and greatness of the Lord.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, We rejoice in Your unchanging nature, Your reliability, and Your grace. Despite the challenges we face, the imperfections of others, and the uncertainty of our circumstances, we find joy in You. Help us to focus not on our surroundings, but on Your goodness and greatness. Guide us to see You in the teachings of Jesus Christ, as depicted in the Four Gospels. We commit to continually rejoice in Your kindness and greatness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
