A Young Woman's Battle with Identity Theft Fallout
My name is Emily, and I am reaching out because I have been struggling since my identity was stolen last year. It was devastating to find out that my credit score plummeted overnight, and I lost my savings due to fraudulent transactions. I feel like I am starting from scratch, and the stress is overwhelming. I’ve been trying to find work, but the financial burden looms over me. I feel lost and anxious about my future. I want to believe that God has a plan for me, but sometimes it's hard when all I see are the consequences of this theft. Dear Emily, I want you to know that your feelings of loss and anxiety are completely valid. Identity theft can be incredibly challenging, but remember that God is a restorer. In Matthew 6:33, we're reminded to seek first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you. This means that as you turn your heart towards Him, He will provide for your needs. I encourage you to take time in prayer and seek His wisdom during this challenging season. James 1:5 assures us, 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.' God can guide you in rebuilding your finances and restoring your peace. Lastly, hold on to the promise in Deuteronomy 8:18, which states, 'But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.' May you find strength in His presence. Let’s pray for restoration and guidance for you during this challenging time.
