Building Patience Through Postpartum Challenges
As a new mother, I've been overwhelmed by postpartum feelings that have caused tension in our marriage. I struggle with patience and feel like I'm taking my frustrations out on my husband. I know he wants to help, but it feels so hard to let him in. I long for the companionship we once had, but the pressures of motherhood have made me distant. Please pray for my heart to soften and for us to work through these emotions together. I desire to trust more in our relationship and grow through this difficult time together.

Dear Samantha, thank you for sharing your concerns. It’s important to recognize that postpartum struggles can deeply affect relationships. Your feelings are valid, and it’s great that you’re seeking prayer and support. Remember that communication is key. In Hebrews 13:4, we are reminded that 'Marriage is honourable in all.' Honor your relationship by openly discussing your feelings. Allow your husband to support you as you navigate this new phase. As you build patience, consider the guidance of Romans 12:10, which encourages us to prefer one another in love. I pray that God helps you find comfort and strength in this season, that you both may grow closer. Let’s pray: Father, I ask that You grant Samantha peace and patience as she navigates motherhood and strengthen her relationship with her husband. Amen.
