Restoration of Joy After Birth of Our Twins
Since the arrival of our twins, my wife and I have found ourselves at odds more often than not. The joy we anticipated has been overshadowed by exhaustion and stress. I often feel like we are just surviving each day rather than enjoying our blessings. Our communication has turned into arguments over minor things, and I miss the way we used to support each other. I ask for prayers for our family to find peace and joy again. I want us to reconnect as partners and not just as co-parents. Help us to remember the love that brought us together and to foster that amidst the chaos.

Dear James, thank you for your vulnerability in sharing your struggles. It is normal for the arrival of twins to bring challenges that can strain any marriage. It’s a season that requires both effort and grace. In Malachi 2:16, God speaks about how He desires marriage to be honored and cherished. Remember, the love you and your wife share is a foundation that can weather this storm. Lean on each other and make time for moments of joy, even in the chaos. I encourage you both to pray together and express your needs and feelings. As stated in Proverbs 31:10, 'Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.' Cherish the unique qualities in each other and recognize that you are both doing your best. Let’s pray: Lord, guide James and his wife to rediscover their joy, unity, and love, even in this challenging season. Amen.
