Facing Uncertain Housing Without a Steady Income
I'm Roger, a 45-year-old man who's recently faced the hardest challenge of my life. After my job was outsourced, I found myself without a steady income and at risk of losing my home. I've worked hard all my life, and the thought of becoming homeless is terrifying. I worry about my family and their well-being, and I feel like I'm letting them down. I pray for guidance to help me find work quickly so that I can support them again. Please pray that I can find a way through this dark tunnel and back into the light. I want my family to feel secure and safe.

Dear Roger, thank you for reaching out. I admire your courage in sharing your struggles. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed in times like these, but take heart! God has not forgotten you. In Deuteronomy 8:18, we are reminded, 'But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.' He has equipped you with the skills and perseverance to overcome this challenge. I encourage you to lean into prayer and trust that He will guide your steps, as it is written in Joshua 1:8, 'This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night.' Stay focused on God's promises, and He will lead you to opportunities. I will be praying for new job prospects for you and security for your family.
