Finding Hope in the Face of Financial Crisis
I'm Marissa, a 50-year-old woman who has recently lost her job and is now facing potential homelessness. It's so hard to see a way out, and I feel a deep sense of shame for not being able to support myself. I’ve worked all my life and never thought I would find myself in this position. I’m praying for guidance to find work and for the strength to support myself and my aging parents. I also hope for a supportive community around me during this time. Please pray for God’s grace to find a path to stability.

Dear Marissa, thank you for sharing your heart with us. Please know that you are not alone in this journey. Many people go through phases in life where they feel lost, but God is always by our side. Remember, in Joshua 1:8, it says, 'This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night.' Immerse yourself in His Word for comfort and guidance during this time. God can turn situations around, and in Psalm 37:4 it says, 'Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.' Remain faithful in prayer and trust. I will be praying for you to find the right job and for a supportive community to surround you. Let’s pray: Lord, I lift Marissa up to You. Provide divine guidance and support as she seeks employment and stability for herself and her parents. Amen.
