Finding Hope After Job and Pension Cuts
Hi everyone, I feel compelled to share my struggles with you. I recently lost my pension after 30 years with my company, and on top of that, I lost my job due to company downsizing. It feels like my whole world has turned upside down, and the fear of uncertainty is gripping me. I’m asking for prayers for hope and clarity as I look for a new job and try to reestablish my financial security. I need God’s direction and encouragement to keep going. Dear Tom, it’s hard to see the way forward when faced with such significant losses. I want to encourage you to remember that our God is a restorer. Isaiah 61:3 reminds us that God can give us beauty for ashes and joy for mourning. Lean into Him during this challenging time; He will provide for you in ways you cannot foresee. Remember to seek Him first, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let’s pray for you now: Heavenly Father, we pray for Tom during this difficult season. Bring him hope, direction, and the opportunities he needs to regain his footing. We trust in Your goodness and provision. Amen.
