Finding Peace in Safety Concerns for My Son
I am a single mother feeling overwhelmed and anxious about my son’s safety at school. Each day, I drop him off with a heavy heart, plagued by anxiety about potential dangers he might face. I fear that my worries will affect our relationship and his ability to enjoy school. I seek prayer to ease my mind, help me find peace, and give me the strength to trust God in this situation. I want to provide my son with a sense of security and comfort, and I need the Holy Spirit’s guidance to manage my fears. Please pray for both of us to feel God’s protection and love.

Dear Laura, your concerns highlight the immense love you have for your son. It’s important to recognize that you are not alone in this battle of anxiety. Turn to God, who has promised to be with us in all circumstances. In Lamentations 3:23, we are reminded that His mercies are new every morning, which includes the strength for each day. Casting our anxieties on Him is crucial, as stated in 1 Peter 5:7, for He truly cares for us. Your desire to provide security for your son is admirable, and God will guide you. Philippians 4:7 tells us that the peace of God will guard our hearts and minds. Lean into Him, and trust in His protection over both you and your son. Let us pray: Lord, grant Laura peace and strength. Surround her and her son with Your protection. Amen.
