Overcoming Fear for My Daughter's School Life
As a parent, my heart races with fear whenever I think about my daughter's day at school. It’s not just about her education; it's about her safety. I find myself battling thoughts of what could go wrong, and it's exhausting. I want to be a pillar of strength for her, yet my anxiety keeps creeping in. I ask for prayer that I can overcome this fear and find comfort in God's promises. My hope is to teach her resilience and trust in God while I learn to manage my own worries. I pray that God will protect her and that I will instill in her the confidence she needs.

Dear Jessica, it’s completely understandable to feel anxious as a parent, particularly regarding your daughter's safety. Know that God is with both of you. Psalm 46:1 tells us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. When your fears rise, remember to turn to Him. He desires for us to rest in His peace. In 2 Timothy 1:7, we are reminded that God has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control; lean into this truth. As you navigate these feelings, remember Philippians 4:7 promises that God’s peace will guard your heart and mind. I encourage you to pray for both your strength and your daughter's confidence. Let’s pray: Lord, please ease Jessica’s anxiety and protect her daughter at school. Fill their hearts with Your peace. Amen.
