Finding Peace in the Chaos of New Life
As a single mom, postpartum anxiety has struck harder than I ever expected. Each day feels like a battle against fears that threaten to consume me: What if I can’t provide for my child? What if I’m not enough? The anxiety feels relentless, creeping in during the quiet moments when I should be enjoying the beauty of motherhood. I often question my abilities and feel the weight of isolation. I am reaching out for prayers that I may find peace amidst this chaos and that I can trust that God has a plan for both me and my little one.

Dear Sofia, thank you for being open about your struggles as a single mom. The challenges you face are immense, and it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed. Remember that God has not left you to face these fears alone. In John 14:27, Jesus promises us peace—not as the world gives, but a divine peace that calms our hearts. In moments of uncertainty, hold on to Psalm 46:1, which reminds us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Trust in Him, for He understands your burdens. I encourage you to surround yourself with supportive community members who can walk this journey with you. Let’s pray together: "Heavenly Father, I lift Sofia to You. Grant her supernatural peace and the assurance that You have her and her child in Your loving care. Amen."
