Finding Strength in Environmental Anxiety
As a college student majoring in environmental science, I am constantly reminded of the pressing issues our planet faces. I often feel a deep sense of dread about climate change and the societal unrest around it. The weight of it all sometimes leads me to feel paralyzed, unsure if my efforts truly make a difference. I ask for prayers that I can find the strength to move forward and contribute positively without being overwhelmed by fear. I want to channel my anxiety into action and to trust God to guide my steps.

Jordan, I admire your passion for the environment and your desire to make a difference. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when confronted with such significant challenges. Remember, God created the world and cares deeply for it. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee.' Use your talents and studies as a platform to bring about change, but also to draw upon God’s strength in times of anxiety. Romans 8:15 reassures us that 'For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.' Let us pray together: Lord, give Jordan the courage and strength to promote positive change in our world, alleviating his fears and guiding his efforts. Amen.
