Finding Strength While Caring for My Schizophrenic Child
I come to you with a heavy heart for my daughter, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. At just 16, she’s facing a reality that is so difficult for her to bear, and it is breaking our family apart. I am finding it increasingly hard to cope as a single mother, balancing work, care for her, and my own emotional health. I am requesting prayers for her healing and clarity, as well as for me to have the strength to be the support she needs. I am truly feeling lost and overwhelmed, and I need God to guide me in how to help her heal and find peace within herself. Please pray not only for her condition but also for the restoration of our family's bond in the midst of this struggle.

Dear Lisa, thank you for your vulnerability in sharing your request. It's heart-wrenching to see a child face such challenges, and I commend you for your dedication as a mother. You are doing an incredible job in a very difficult situation. In Isaiah 41:10, God promises, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.' Hold onto this promise as you care for your daughter. Remember, healing is often a journey, and it may take time. In 3 John 1:2, we read, 'Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.' I pray that both you and your daughter will find peace and healing in God’s embrace. Let us pray together for strength, wisdom, and healing for your family during this trying time.
