Healing Anxiety From Social Media Envy
Lord, I come to you feeling consumed by anxiety stemming from social media. Each time I log in, I find myself comparing my life to what I see others posting. I feel like I'm in a constant race, and I never catch up. This envy leads me to anxiety about my own life choices and the path I'm on. I need your guidance to heal my heart from this cycle of negativity. Help me to recognize that every person has their struggles, even if they are not visible online. Lord, I ask for peace and wisdom to navigate my feelings and to focus on the good you have given me. Let me be grateful for where I am in my life and who I am becoming in you. Amen.

Dear David, I appreciate your openness in sharing your struggle with anxiety. Social media can indeed create a false sense of reality that can lead to feelings of inadequacy. It’s crucial to remember that everyone carries their battles, even if they are not evident behind their screens. In Psalm 91:1, we find assurance in dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, where we can find refuge. I encourage you to take time away from social media to focus on self-care and strengthen your relationship with God. In 1 Peter 5:7, we are instructed to cast all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us. Let God carry your burdens and fill your heart with peace. Let’s pray: 'Lord, help David find rest in You and heal him from the comparisons that weigh him down. Amen.'
