Navigating the Silent Grief of Infertility
I am a 31-year-old woman struggling with infertility and feeling a deep sense of loss for the child I haven’t been able to conceive. Each failed attempt leaves me questioning my worth and purpose. I feel like I’m drowning in a sea of silent grief, where I smile on the outside but cry on the inside. My heart aches, and I wish I could find peace amidst this pain. I ask for prayers for healing, for the ability to forgive myself, and for understanding that I am still whole, even if I don’t have the family I’ve dreamed of.

Pastor Sarah Mitchell
Women's Ministry Leader, Cornerstone Church
Dear Jessica, thank you for your heartfelt prayer request. Please know that your feelings are valid, and God understands your pain deeply. It's crucial to remember that your worth is not defined by your ability to conceive. You are wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God's plans for you extend beyond our understanding. He can bring healing and comfort to your heart in this season of grief (Revelation 21:4). Don’t hesitate to reach out for support and share your feelings with those you trust. Let us pray: Lord, I pray for Jessica as she navigates this challenging path, providing her with strength and comfort in her journey. Remind her of her inherent worth in Your eyes. Amen.
