Overcoming Anxiety from Decreased Mission Funding
I am serving as a missionary abroad, but I’m experiencing a significant drop in financial support from supporters back home. This sudden change has left me feeling anxious about how I will continue my work. I cherish the relationships I've built here and feel responsible for their wellbeing. I’m praying for peace and for God to rekindle the hearts of supporters. I also ask for wisdom to navigate this season of financial strain. Please pray for my anxiety to lessen and for fresh opportunities to arise that can sustain my mission work.

Dear Jonathan, thank you for your honest request. Anxiety in times like these is completely understandable, but I want you to remember that our God is sovereign and cares for you deeply. Psalm 37:4 encourages us, 'Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.' Focus on Him and trust that He knows your needs. We can also seek wisdom and guidance, as James 1:5 assures us that when we ask, God gives liberally. I want to encourage you not to shy away from reaching out to others who may be inspired to support your mission. I will pray with you for peace and provision. Let’s pray: Lord, I pray for Jonathan's mission and for peace in his heart during this challenging time. May You bring forth new supporters and reassure him of Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
