Overcoming Anxiety-Induced Insomnia at 45
Hello, my name is Thomas, and I am a 45-year-old who has been battling anxiety-driven insomnia for the last two years. My anxiety stems from a recent job loss and the uncertainty of my financial situation. Night after night, I struggle with thoughts of failure and worry about where to go from here. This constant battle has left me drained, and I feel isolated in my fears. I humbly ask for your prayers to find peace during the night, to quiet my racing mind, and to restore my hope and trust in God’s plan for my life.

Dear Thomas, I admire your courage in reaching out for prayer during this difficult time. Job loss can bring a torrent of anxieties, but God is always in control. In Lamentations 3:22, we are reminded, 'It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.' I encourage you to meditate on His mercies and let them renew your spirit. As stated in Philippians 4:7, God's peace is available to guard your heart and mind in these troubling times. Each night, as you lay down, surrender your worries to Him. In 1 Peter 5:7, we find comfort in knowing, 'Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.' Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father, I lift up Thomas to You. May he feel Your presence and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.
