Overcoming Fear After Medical Trauma
Hello, I’m Ahmad, and I am reaching out for prayer after a traumatic medical procedure left me with deep fears and anxieties. I never expected to feel so shaken after what was supposed to be a routine operation. Since then, I have experienced flashbacks and panic attacks that disrupt my daily life. I feel like I’m constantly on edge, afraid of any medical situation that might arise. I have a wonderful family supporting me, but I often feel like I’m a burden to them. I’m praying for deliverance from this anxiety and for the courage to confront my fears head-on. Please pray that I would find peace in Christ and the strength to overcome these struggles.

Dear Ahmad, thank you for sharing your heart with us. I want you to know that God sees your pain and is ready to help you through it. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It’s understandable to feel burdened after such a traumatic experience, but remember, Jesus said, 'Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest' (Matthew 11:28). I encourage you to lean into His promises and remind yourself that you are not a burden to Him or your family. You have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; rather, you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father (Romans 8:15). Let’s pray together for healing and strength: Lord, we lift Ahmad to You and ask for Your peace to surround him, helping him overcome his fears, and guiding him toward a brighter future. In Jesus' name, Amen.
