Prayer for Teen Coach’s Evangelistic Efforts
I coach a teenage girls' basketball team, and it breaks my heart to see their struggles, many of which stem from not knowing Christ. I feel called to reach out to them, but I often worry they won’t be receptive to the Gospel. I ask for prayers that God would give me the courage to speak about my faith in a relatable way. I want to hold team meetings that not only focus on sports but also on life lessons grounded in faith. Please pray that their hearts would be softened to hear about Jesus, and that I can be a light in their lives. I am committed to being a positive influence and demonstrating what it means to follow Him. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Sarah, it’s wonderful to hear about your passion for your players and your desire to share Christ with them. Remember, God equips those He calls. The challenges they face can serve as powerful testimonies of how Jesus can heal and restore, as highlighted in Romans 6:23, 'For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.' Your willingness to open discussions around faith can plant seeds in their hearts. As it says in 1 Timothy 2:4, God desires all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Trust that your genuine love and encouragement will make a difference. Let us pray: Lord, I lift up Sarah’s coaching and her efforts to share the Gospel.
