Prayers for Strength Before Surgery
My name is Linda, and I am a 50-year-old woman about to undergo a double mastectomy. I have been battling breast cancer, and while I am hopeful for a positive outcome, I can’t help but feel afraid of the surgery and what comes after. The uncertainty about recovery and the long-term implications weigh heavily on me. I am reaching out for prayer to find strength and courage. I want to trust God during this time and not let fear take over my heart. Please pray that I can feel His presence and peace as I prepare for this life-changing surgery.

Dear Linda, thank you for sharing your heart during this challenging time. Facing a double mastectomy is a significant step in your health journey, and it's totally natural to feel fearful. I want to encourage you with the words of Psalm 103:3, which reminds us that God forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. As you prepare for surgery, lean on the reassurance of Isaiah 41:10, which tells us not to fear because God is with you. When anxiety threatens to overwhelm you, Philippians 4:7 offers a beautiful promise of peace that surpasses all understanding. Trust that God is with you every step of the way. Let’s pray: Lord, I pray for Linda as she faces surgery. Grant her strength and peace, and may she feel Your healing presence in every moment, Amen.
