Renewal After Financial Deception
I am Esther, a 65-year-old widow. After investing my late husband’s life insurance payout into what I thought was a secure retirement plan, I discovered it was a scam. Now, I am left feeling betrayed and vulnerable in my old age. I worry about how I will manage my expenses and future healthcare needs. I ask for prayers for guidance as I navigate this difficult path. I am also praying for God’s comfort, as I feel lost without my husband and now without my savings. I hope to find a way forward and restore some semblance of stability in my life. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Esther, I am so sorry to hear about the loss and betrayal you have experienced. It's normal to feel overwhelmed when dealing with such financial uncertainty, especially after losing your husband. Remember, God sees your tears and knows your heartache. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 reminds us that 'Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation.' As you seek God's comfort and guidance, know that He has a purpose for you in this season. Hold fast to Isaiah 41:10, which reminds us not to fear, for God is with us. Let’s pray together: Heavenly Father, please wrap your arms around Esther and bring her peace and direction during this time. Amen.
