Seeking Courage Amidst Global Unrest
As a mother, I often find myself thinking about the world my children are growing up in. The news is filled with conflict, division, and uncertainty, and I can't help but feel anxious about their future. I worry about their safety and how they will navigate the challenges that lie ahead. I pray for the strength to be a source of hope for them, but sometimes my fear overpowers that hope. Please pray that I can find courage and continue to foster a spirit of peace in our home despite the anxiety surrounding the world situation.

Samantha, your heart for your children is beautiful, and it’s natural to feel anxious about the world they are inheriting. In 2 Timothy 1:7, we are reminded that 'For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.' Clinging to this truth can help you to cultivate peace in your home. Remember, as we face uncertain times, God is still sovereign over all creation. Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us, 'It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.' Trust that your love and guidance will give them strength. Let’s lift you in prayer: Lord, please grant Samantha courage and instill peace in her heart as she raises her children during these challenging times. Amen.
