Seeking Financial Wisdom and Job Opportunities
Hi, my name is David, and I’m a 39-year-old man dealing with a disability that has made it impossible for me to hold a full-time job. I work part-time, but my income barely covers my living expenses. I’m often anxious about finances, and I feel overwhelmed with the pressure of not being able to provide more for my family. I am praying for God’s wisdom in managing what I have and for the ability to find better work that aligns with my circumstances. Dear David, I appreciate your honesty in sharing your financial burdens. It can be incredibly difficult to find peace when circumstances weigh heavily on your heart. I encourage you to lean on God’s promises during this time. James 1:5 assures us, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." God desires to give you the wisdom you need for your finances and job search. Remember, "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established" (Proverbs 16:3). Trust that as you surrender your concerns to Him, He will guide you. I will pray for resources to open up for you and for peace in your heart. Let us pray: Heavenly Father, I lift David to You, asking for Your guidance and provision as he seeks financial stability and suitable work. May he find peace in Your presence. In Jesus' name, Amen.
