Seeking Hope in Two Years of Sleepless Nights
As a 35-year-old school teacher, I have been wrestling with anxiety-driven insomnia for two long years. Every night, I find myself staring at the ceiling, consumed by thoughts of lesson plans, my students’ well-being, and the pressure to perform. The exhaustion is unbearable, and I often feel that my ability to teach and inspire my students is slipping away. I feel like I’m losing hope and my desire to connect with God has dwindled amidst my fears. I’m reaching out for prayers that I might find rest in Him and the courage to face each new day with renewed strength.

Grief and Healing Ministry
Dear Angela, thank you for sharing your concerns with us. I understand that sleeplessness can drain our hope and joy. Please remember that God's mercies are new every morning, as stated in Lamentations 3:22-23. He is aware of your struggles and desires to lift you up. In Romans 8:15, we are reminded that we are children of God, and with that comes a profound sense of belonging and peace, free from anxiety. I encourage you to meditate on Isaiah 41:10, where God tells us to not fear because He is with us and will strengthen us. Your role as a teacher is vital and impactful, and God has placed you there for a reason. I pray that you find rest and renew your hope in Him. Let’s pray: Lord, please restore Angela’s hope and provide her the restful nights she needs. Amen.
