Seeking Peace Amidst Worries About School Safety
As a father, it breaks my heart to see my daughter anxious about going to school. Recently, she has been hearing stories that make her fearful about her safety. I try to reassure her, but I carry my own worries about what could happen. I fear that my anxiety might affect her, and I want to be the strong figure she needs. I ask for prayer for both of us. I hope to find peace in God's presence and be a source of comfort for her. Please pray for our family to lean on faith during these troubling times.

Dear Michael, thank you for sharing your heart with me. It is so important to recognize the emotions you and your daughter are experiencing. Safety concerns can be incredibly challenging for parents and children alike. Remember, in times of fear and uncertainty, God is our refuge. Psalm 46:1 assures us, 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.' He understands our worries and is always ready to provide comfort. I encourage you to create a safe space for open conversations with your daughter about her feelings, reminding her of God's promises. In Lamentations 3:23, we find hope: 'They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.' Let’s pray for peace in your hearts: Lord, I pray for Michael and his daughter during this time of anxiety. May Your comforting presence surround them and grant them courage. Amen.
