Wisdom for Navigating Foster Care Challenges
Heavenly Father, I ask for Your guidance as I navigate the complex world of foster care. My husband and I have taken in siblings who have faced unimaginable hardships, and we want to provide them with stability and love. Yet, each day brings its own challenges as we try to help them adjust while managing our own family dynamics. I feel lost at times. Please grant me the wisdom to lead and nurture these children with compassion. Help us to communicate effectively and create an environment where they feel safe to express themselves. I desire to be Your hands and feet in their lives, but I need Your help to do it right. Guide our family through this journey, Lord. Amen.

Dear Jordan, thank you for sharing your heartfelt request for wisdom in such an important role. It’s clear that you and your husband are following God's calling to care for these children. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are reminded, 'Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.' This promise is a source of strength as you face the complexities of foster care. Remember, God has equipped you with what you need to fulfill this calling. Ephesians 4:2 encourages us to 'with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.' Your patience and kindness will be vital. Let’s lift up your family in prayer: Lord, grant Jordan and their husband the wisdom and grace to navigate the challenges of foster care. Surround them with Your love and guide their steps.
