A College Student Torn by Vision Problems
I am a 19-year-old college student, and it feels like my world is closing in on me. I have been diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition that is affecting my vision progressively, and the fear of total blindness haunts my thoughts daily. My studies in biology mean everything to me, but with these changes, I find it increasingly difficult to keep up. Each time I sit down to read, I feel a wave of despair wash over me. I pray for healing and for the strength to continue my education. Please pray for my vision to be restored and for hope to fill my heart.

Dear Marcus, thank you for sharing your journey with us. As a young student, facing such daunting challenges can feel overwhelming, yet I want you to know that you are not alone in this fight. Our God is a healer, and His promises are true. In 3 John 1:2, we find encouragement: 'Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.' Your pursuit of education is noble, and God will guide your steps as you seek Him. I encourage you to take each day at a time; lean into your studies while also making time for prayer and reflection. Surround yourself with friends who can pray with you and support you through this season. Remember, He is with you, and His grace is sufficient. Let us pray: Lord, I lift Marcus before You, asking for healing and clarity in his vision. Grant him peace amidst his worries and strength to persevere in his studies. Amen.
