A Grandmother's Struggles with Long COVID
I am a 67-year-old grandmother who has been dealing with long COVID after my initial infection last year. I was once active and enjoyed caring for my grandchildren, but now I find myself exhausted and unable to engage in activities I love. It’s so difficult to see the disappointment in their eyes when I have to decline their invitations to play. I feel like I am letting them down and myself. I am seeking prayer for healing so that I can regain my strength and be the grandmother they deserve. Please pray that I could experience joy again and not let my illness define me.

Dear Margaret, your request for prayer touches my heart. It’s clear that your love for your grandchildren is profound, and your desire to be present in their lives reflects the beautiful heart God has given you. In times of struggle, we often find our identity challenged. However, we must remember that in Christ, we are more than our circumstances. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Be encouraged that God is your strength in this time of weakness. As you seek healing, let’s also remember to bring our concerns to Him, as instructed in Philippians 4:6. God wants to hear your prayers and provide you with the peace that transcends understanding (Philippians 4:7). I will be praying for your healing and restoration so that you can create cherished memories with your grandchildren again. Let’s pray: Dear Lord, please bless Margaret with strength and healing. May she feel Your presence and joy returning to her life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
