Balancing Work and Family Back Home
Hello, my name is Aisha. I currently live in Canada, while my parents and siblings are in Nigeria. I’m blessed to have a good job, but with the time difference and my duties here, I often feel guilty for not being there for them. My parents are getting older, and I want to support them both financially and emotionally. Some days are incredibly overwhelming, and I struggle to find a balance between my work responsibilities and staying connected with my family. I ask for prayers for strength to manage my time better and for God to bless my efforts in sending support back home. I also wish for my family to feel my love despite the distance.

Dear Aisha, it’s a joy to hear from you, and I appreciate your openness about the challenges you're facing. Balancing work and family, especially across continents, can be incredibly difficult. Remember that God sees your heart’s desire to support your family, and Psalm 68:5 states that God is a father to the fatherless, and He cares deeply for families. Your commitment to your parents is a beautiful reflection of His love. As you work diligently, hold onto Joshua 1:8, which encourages us to meditate on His Word to find success in our endeavors. God grants us the wisdom needed to navigate life's challenges. May you find peace in your work and strength in your prayers for your family. I will pray for God to bless your efforts and to provide you with the time and energy you need. Let us pray: Lord, be with Aisha as she balances her responsibilities and desires. Grant her peace and provision for her family in Nigeria. Amen.
