Desperate for My Brother’s Spiritual Awakening
I'm reaching out for prayer for my younger brother, who is in his mid-20s and is battling a severe alcohol addiction. He refuses to engage in discussions about faith, often pushing me away when I try to share what God means to me. I feel hopeless at times, watching him spiral further into this darkness. I pray daily for his salvation and that he would come to understand the love of Christ. It’s painful to see him lost, and I long for him to experience the freedom that comes with faith. Please pray for a breakthrough in his heart and for God to send someone into his life who can share the Gospel with him in a meaningful way. I believe that with God, all things are possible, and I hold onto that hope tightly.

Dear Michael, thank you for sharing your heart regarding your brother's struggles. It's clear that you care deeply for him, and your prayers are powerful. In times like these, I encourage you to remain steadfast in your hope. The Lord is always at work, even when it seems impossible. Ephesians 2:9 reminds us, 'Not of works, lest any man should boast.' This grace is what your brother needs to understand that he cannot fight this battle alone. It's important to remember that God loves him just as much as He loves you, and He desires for your brother to come to Him (1 Timothy 2:4). Hold onto the promise that 'Wherefore I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth' (Luke 15:7). I am praying that God will create a divine appointment for him to receive the truth. Let's pray together for him. Lord, we ask that You open Michael’s brother's heart to Your truth and that he may find salvation in You. Amen.
