Encouragement in Witnessing to My Cousin
I am feeling particularly challenged in my attempts to share the Gospel with my cousin, who is Jewish. He often challenges my beliefs and seems hesitant to hear about Yeshua. I believe that God can change his heart, but I feel discouraged. I want to share the hope and love I have found in Jesus, but sometimes I feel like my words just bounce off him. Please pray for renewed strength and encouragement as I seek to be a witness to him. I know that God has a plan for his life, and I want to be part of that journey. I desire to show him that salvation is a gift offered to everyone. Thank you for praying!

Dear David, thank you for your honest prayer request regarding your cousin. It can be difficult to share our faith with those who seem resistant, but remember the power of God’s word. Romans 6:23 reminds us that 'the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.' This is the truth you want to share with him. Keep praying for opportunities to discuss Yeshua, as well as wisdom in how to present this message. Remember, Luke 15:7 tells us that there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repents. Your persistence in love could be the catalyst for his transformation. Let’s pray together: Lord, I ask for strength and encouragement for David as he shares his faith with his cousin. Soften his cousin's heart to receive the truth about salvation in Yeshua. Amen.
