Longing for a Heart of Humility
As a woman in my fifties, I’ve experienced various seasons in life, yet I still find pride lurking in my heart. I sometimes feel self-righteous about my experiences and judgments toward others who may not share my views. I fear this may hinder my witness to those around me. I earnestly pray for God to cultivate a humble spirit within me. I want to show Christ's love without the barrier of pride. Please pray that He gives me the strength to confront my prideful tendencies and replace them with grace and understanding. My desire is to reflect Christ and glorify Him through every interaction. Thank you dearly for your prayers!

Dear Linda, your heartfelt request is truly moving. It's a blessing to see someone recognize the need for humility at any age. God is faithful and desires to work in our hearts continually, as seen in Philippians 1:6. Your experiences are valuable, but they should point others to Christ, not to self. Proverbs 11:2 tells us that when pride comes, then comes shame, but with the humble is wisdom. Embrace the wisdom that comes from humility, and let it guide your actions and words. I will be praying that God fills you with His love and grace, allowing you to interact with others as His ambassador. Let us pray: Heavenly Father, I ask that You transform Linda's heart. Help her to recognize and release her pride, drawing her nearer to Your humble spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen.
