Overcoming Insecurity in Group Leadership
In my role as a small group leader, I’m grappling with deep feelings of insecurity. I often question whether I’m truly equipped to lead. I look at others and see how confident they seem, while I feel like an imposter. I have a desire to foster a welcoming environment for my group, but I’m afraid my weaknesses will hinder our progress. Please pray for me to find strength in God’s promises and to build my confidence in Him. I seek reassurance that my faith can inspire others, despite my feelings of inadequacy.

Dear Sarah, thank you for your openness about your struggles. Remember that God uses our weaknesses to display His strength. 'Be still, and know that I am God' (Psalm 46:10). Your leadership can shine brighter through honesty and humility. As you seek to create a welcoming atmosphere, know that your authenticity draws others close to the Lord. Trust in His promise that 'we walk by faith, not by sight' (2 Corinthians 5:7). This journey is not just about you but about what God can do through you. Let us pray together: God, I lift up Sarah and ask that You instill in her a deep sense of confidence rooted in Your love. Amen.
